Slow IE 8 & Publishing Sites
Today I stumbled upon a nice post about one of the things I feel irritated about almost every day. It is in Dutch and can be found here. For the none Dutchies a short recap; Whenever you refresh a page that is checked out, or in edit mode IE gets extremely slow, it almost feels like it crashes. So according to the post above you can easily fix that by unchecking the Native XML property:
