During this free online event, engineers, MVPs, and community members share how they are working with Copilot in practice. Not just the big ideas, but also what works, what doesn’t, and where it starts to become useful. Topics range from SharePoint and automation to agents and Copilot Studio.

A Developer’s Introduction to Copilot Studio

One of the sessions is handed by me; we will be focussing on Copilot Studio, and how developers can start building agents.

This session is very demo‑driven. Instead of long explanations, you’ll see how agents are actually built and extended.

A few things the session covers:

• How you as developer can use their existing development skills to build agents
• How to add external knowledge with Azure AI Search
• How to connect agents to custom APIs and business logic

The session includes several live demos. You’ll see how agents are created, how knowledge is added, and how their behavior can be controlled.

That gives a much better feel for what’s possible.

Because in the end, building an agent is rarely the hard part.
